Common questions

Plain answers to the practical questions doctors ask before they trust ClinDesk with their clinic.

Something not covered? Contact ClinDesk directly.

  • Can it actually book the appointment, or just suggest a time?

It books it. ClinDesk reads your clinic's calendar, offers free slots in the patient's chat, and saves the confirmed visit to your calendar. Cancel by message and the event goes too.

  • Do you use cloud AI to read patient conversations?

No. Patient conversations and summaries stay on your Mac, in a folder that belongs to you. The AI that reads them runs on-device, and ClinDesk does not keep a patient database on our side.

  • What kind of Mac do I need?

Any Mac from the last few years works. ClinDesk runs on macOS 15 or newer with at least 16 GB of memory. If you're not sure, send your Mac details and we will check.

  • Does ClinDesk give medical advice to patients?

No. ClinDesk handles the everyday questions, hours, directions, prices, in your voice. Anything that sounds clinical gets flagged for you to handle yourself. It does not diagnose, recommend medications, or instruct patients on treatment. Clinical decisions stay with you.

  • How much does it cost?

One plan per clinic, monthly or annual, priced in your local currency at checkout. Tax is handled. Cancel any time. See the pricing page for the exact amount in your region.

  • What if a real emergency comes in at 3 AM?

ClinDesk stays quiet through routine messages and wakes you when a patient writes something that could be urgent. You see the patient name, the key part of what they wrote, where they are, and one tap to open the conversation or call.

  • Will there be a Windows or Linux version?

Not today. ClinDesk is built for the Mac because that is how we keep patient messages on your computer. Once the Mac version is mature and we see real demand for Windows or Linux, we will look at it. If that matters to you, write to Emin directly, it helps ClinDesk gauge interest.

Less admin. More patient time. No cloud AI for patient conversations.

Answers WhatsApp, books appointments, organizes follow-up, and keeps patient messages on the clinic's Mac. macOS 15 or newer.
