These terms govern your use of the clindesk.ai website. By visiting the site you accept them. They do not cover the ClinDesk Mac application itself — that is offered under a separate agreement with beta participants.
The website
This site is a marketing and information page. It describes ClinDesk and allows you to contact us to request beta access. We provide it "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Not a medical device. Not medical advice.
ClinDesk is an administrative tool for clinics. It helps triage incoming WhatsApp messages, draft replies about non-clinical topics (hours, directions, appointments, pricing), and flag messages that may need the clinician's attention.
ClinDesk is not a medical device and has not been certified under the EU MDR, the Swiss MedDO/HMG, the US FDA framework, or any comparable regulation. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, prevention, monitoring, or mitigation of disease or injury.
ClinDesk does not provide medical advice to patients. Auto-replies generated by the app are limited to administrative, logistical, and informational content. The app does not interpret symptoms, suggest diagnoses, recommend medications, or instruct patients on treatment. Clinical decisions — including whether a patient needs urgent care — remain the sole responsibility of the licensed clinician using the tool.
ClinDesk's triage signals (including any "urgent" or "clinical" flags) are informational heuristics to help prioritise a clinician's attention. They are not a substitute for clinical judgement, and must not be relied upon as a medical alert system. The clinician is responsible for reviewing the underlying messages and making all medical decisions.
By using ClinDesk, you agree that you are a licensed healthcare professional (or acting under the supervision of one), that you will review auto-generated content before it materially affects patient care, and that you will use your own clinical judgement for anything that could be medical in nature.
Nothing on this website or in the app constitutes medical advice. In a medical emergency, patients should call local emergency services.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the website, its servers, or its networks;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site;
- use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
Intellectual property
All content on the site — text, images, design, code — is owned by or licensed to Emin Khateeb and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the site freely, but you may not copy, republish, or adapt its content without permission.
Beta access
Requesting beta access via email is an enquiry, not a commitment on either side. We may accept or decline at our discretion, and the terms of any beta participation will be agreed separately in writing.
External links
The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or from any errors or omissions in its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection law at your place of residence.
